Share Dealing
Capita Share Dealing Services, part of Capita IRG Trustees Limited, provides flexible and easy trading options for clients' private shareholders. This service assists clients in managing the number of shareholders, at little or no cost to them, by providing dealing services on an ongoing or short-term basis.
Short-term dealing programme
Ad hoc or short-term dealing programmes lower the cost of servicing a shareholder base by reducing the number of small shareholdings. Costs to the shareholder are kept low by batching together individual trades.
Shareholders with small stock holdings are invited to sell their holdings at a cost effective rate or purchase more shares to make their holding more economically viable. Consolidated mailings, such as with a dividend payment, are used to communicate the service to shareholders.
ShareGift
We also work with ShareGift, the share donation charity (www.sharegift.org). ShareGift specialises in receiving donations of small holdings of shares, collecting them until there are enough to sell and using the proceeds to make donations to other UK charities. A number of clients have incorporated ShareGift into their communications with shareholders.
